With their focus on family love and meaningful moments with friends, it was easy to see the joy radiate from the bride and groom every single moment of their special day! Plus, it helps that they celebrated at one of the most stunning venues in the Chicago area 😉

The dreamiest Chicago castle wedding
Who knew you could get married in a luxurious castle less than an hour away from the busy streets of downtown Chicago??
Tamera and Sam had a slow, easy transition into their wedding day, starting with intentional time getting ready alongside their loved ones. Your wedding morning should never feel too rushed—this is such a special time that you deserve to enjoy with your friends, fam, partner, whoever you’re getting ready with!
Tamera and her gals dressed up in the most stylish gold, silk robes, and even dressed their little Yorkie up in the most handsome tux. Is it any surprise that these two took their fashion seriously on their special day, given how incredible their outfits were for their downtown Chicago engagement sesh? Tamera STUNNED in the most breathtaking gown, featuring a fitted, long-sleeve top covered in bold floral designs and a fluffy tulle skirt that stole the show. Her classy gown paired with her incredible hair piece + veil made for such a killer bridal look, and one that brought out every aspect of her beautiful style and personality! Sam looked just as dapper in a patterned sherwani and gold trousers—these two honestly belong on the cover of their own wedding magazine.
A lush ceremony in the Victorian Gardens
After they were all dressed up for the day, everyone headed to the Haley Mansion for Tamera and Sam’s ceremony, held in the lush Victorian Gardens. We had such gorgeous summer weather, which made way for the bold reds of their florals to shine against the rich greenery around them. The little waterfalls on the sides of the pergola were such an elegant touch that added to the enchanting beauty of this outdoor ceremony space—we were seriously obsessed with everything about this venue!
A lavish, grand ballroom celebration
The party really only started once the ceremony was over, and Tamera, Sam and their wedding party made their grand entrances into the ballroom. Everybody was cheering and waving napkins in the air as the pairs made hilarious entrances, Tamera and Sam literally walking in with a gold staff and a plush tiger on a leash! It was an incredible start to this evening filled with grandeur and extravagance, but not the stuffy, forced kind. . . it was honestly a blend of both luxury and laid-back, soulful vibes that perfectly represented Tamera and Sam’s relationship. Watching these two eat their hearts out at the dessert buffet, dance the night away with their friends and fam, and make their grand exit under the light of their guests’ phones was so much damn fun!

We were SO stoked to not only get to document a wedding for one of our all-time favorite couples, but also to document it at such an incredible Chicago wedding venue: the iconic Haley Mansion.
Located in a quiet area of Joliet, just 40 minutes from downtown Chicago, this mansion is without a doubt one of the most gorgeous venues in the area—and one of the most historic. It’s been around for over 100 years, and now serves as one of the top luxury event venues in Chicago for all sorts of celebrations. And when we say luxury, we mean luxury. . . we’re talking 14k gold china for your dinnerware, glistening marble floors, sparkling chandeliers hanging overhead, towering stone pillars, sprawling verandas, and so many more extravagant touches that make this venue truly top-tier.
The Haley Mansion offers a wide variety of picturesque landscapes to explore, from lavish gardens with cascading waterfalls to a quaint pergola in the middle of lush, Victorian Gardens (where Tamera + Sam held their ceremony). No matter where you choose to exchange your vows and host your evening celebration, your guests will be so damn impressed by the lavish touches of this venue, and the once-in-a-lifetime experience it provides to every visitor. Oh, and did we mention receptions at the Haley Mansion include a four-course meal, ending with an assortment of desserts and a freaking chocolate fountain?!
